Are Veneers Right for You?
Only your dentist can determine if porcelain veneers are right for you. In general, your teeth must be healthy and the enamel thick enough. This is required because the enamel needs to be trimmed a bit to make room for the veneer. Otherwise, the restoration will look fake and bulky. Your mouth should also be free of decay and gum disease. These problems need to be treated first before cosmetic improvements can be made.
